On October 20th, 2003,
Peking University and Founder Group announced the establishing
of Peking University Founder Table Tennis Club (referred
to the Club hereafter). The offices of the Club locate
in the Founder Building, Zhong Guan Cun Hi-tech Area,
and the training base is set in the Gymnasium-I beside
the Weiming Lake of Peking University.
The Club assumes a model with stockholder organizational
system, entrepreneur management, standardized operation
and the general manager under the leadership of the Board
would be responsible for the Club. Ms. Liu Wei, who had

Chinese national table tennis team and
had won seven world champions, will assume the office
of the general manager and the chief coach.
The Club carries on the glorious tradition of Peking
University, absorbs the advanced managing ideas of the
Founder Group, aims at building a top-ranking table tennis
club of the world. The Club also keeps on reforming and
innovating, explores actively the new mechanism of collaborating
university with athletics, and will contribute to the
Chinese sports culture, especially the development of
the table tennis career.

With a purpose of serving for the 2008
Olympic Games in Beijing and advancing the table tennis

Work together with the State Sports Bureau, contribute
to the training of Olympic champions and world |

Work together with the middle school affiliated with Peking
University to train special students that are |

Guide amateur training of the table tennis players of Peking
